Song Of The Day: Jimmy Eat World ‘Clarity.’ First ‘rock show,’ I went to was Jimmy Eat World, Hey Mercedes, and Reubens Accomplice at Lupos in Providence, RI with my buddy Mark, Sara, and Paula. Thanks to this show, my taste in music changed drastically and in my opinion, for the better. I still loved my classic rock, jam bands, and folk, but this music was just the distraction and angst I was looking for. Don’t underestimate a band like Jimmy Eat World; they will rock the shit out of you.
